It'd be really nice if DX9 had made this a full-on Ultra Magnus with the armour too. Maybe they'll do it as a separate kit later on...? I'm probably being too optimistic there.

Its a sketchy baba exclusive

 

I really love the bot mode, much better than the regular and black one, colors work out so much better with the limitations of proportions from this legends size figure mold. So on my radar.

Yeah, the red is ugly for truck... i want it for bot mode though.

 

I've gotten over my fear of painting (and otherwise personalizing) my figures, after learning to paint miniatures games. If I ever get an UM, I guarantee I will be painting over the red.

So, if DX9 is going for anime nods, Windblade and Slipstream as Ryuko and Satsuki would be ti~ght  

Now, I don’t think I need Magnus, but it is kinda interesting that it seems to borrow more from Black Convoy than from Prime himself, given all the teal notes.

While I doubt the following is the case, it would be neat if it turned out the inside of Magnus’ Trailer was unique, even if it doesn’t become his power armor.

I'm a sucker for white Inner Magnuses, and in theory am all over this... but yeaaaaah, that red bumper is... not good. If you're not going for a full Magnus trailer thing, why do that?

That being said, I'll buy this, as I do most every Inner Magnus.... I'll just leave him in robot mode where the bumper isn't visible. Or paint over it, or strip the red pain off it, one or the other.

So, forgive me for not being up on this... but is this an exclusive of some kind? TF-Direct isn't affiliated with baba, is it? Just wondering how readily available this will be.
