Ah yes...I was wondering about that...probably they realised that this fig will be a must for those buying the first set...so at the end of the day they will get their profit out of this one
(having a Starscream-focussed collection is proving to be detrimental to my finances  , )

Got my Seeker and Conehead sets in today. I really like how they turned out, especially the Seekers. I'm amazed at how big the vehicle modes are; much larger than I'd expected.

Any word on forthcoming repaints of these bad boys? Is there a way to contact DX9 to let them know there is interest in such an endeavor?

...i'd rather see DX9 invest the effort into war-in-pocket tetrajets before starting welcoming committee/rainmaker seeker repaints...anyway, the only repaint so far is ghost starscream, but it think reformatted skywarp and thundercracker would be easy sells, too...

I've been on the fence about the different seekers - nearly went all in on the deluxe Seeker mold variants. If Dx9 does the Rainmakers, I'm all-in on this set.

is anybody else put off by the 'neck'?
has anyone found a way to hide it a little?
Its ok when u look at them from bellow but otherwise the head always seems.. weird?

I don't like it but not a deal breaker for me. I still want more repaints. :lol

I'd assume that multiple repaints will be a given.

mhhh... .. mmmmmaybe not, but with the lack of waist movement, the no more than 90degree knees, the bottom wings hindering leg movement and the head not being able to bend up and downwards there's just about two poses left he looks good in.

The biggish scale is the last of its problems, photography has done this mold great service... ..

To be fair, they're legends/scout figures. To expect MP-level perfection is just setting yourself up for disappointment.

And they have completely different designs, transformations, and don't look as good. What's your point? I'm just stating that at this small of a scale, trade-offs have to be made.

Using MP-criteria for scout figures is a great way to be perpetually dissatisfied. I'm just waiting for someone to complain that they don't have landing gear.
