It looks like thr tires are rubber/rubber-like too! Unlike the XTB option, the QC won't be such a dice roll. The only downside is Dx9's direct aftercare support is non-existent. They do not respond to end customer emails for parts, etc. if something goes wrong and cannot be quickly resolved with the re-seller....this is where XTB will have the advantage. I'm still going with Dx9 though.
The coverage of the blue paint needs to be better around the edges, but otherwise it looks really good.
With XTB being $40 a pop I don’t get why everyone doesn’t buy both. Dx9 for menasor, Xtb for Stunticons
No shit! Gabriel’s release was a borderline train wreck, UT Onslaught is riddled with stress marks, the powerglide reissue is all jacked up with replacement parts on the way. All these companies are a roll of the dice minus Fanstoys.
Quite the opposite. I'd rather go with the company that has had some issues mainly over the last few releases (under 6 months) than the company that has been problematic and inconsistent since they opened up shop years ago. I'll take a slight too tight tail fin over parts that fall apart.
That’s the whitest Breakdown anyone’s made in a long time, that’s not even pretending to be off-white. (Blue is too bright as well, should be closer to Navy). But it’s not like I was expecting them to change anything from the earlier pics. “Snow white and bright blue” was likely to be the final color, despite neither the original toy nor toon being colored like that.
Fanstoys is the same in terms of QC as the other big companies... They just add more metal / paint to their figures...
Gotta disagree there....especially if you are including XTB/KFC as among the big companies. The track records are as clear as night and day.
You should. XTB has a shaky track record- and this thing is gorgeous! I like their choice of scale (he actually looks better than those midget MP cars) and the design as others have stated cleans up well. If price is not a concern of yours- get this one. Their Motormaster is going to be amaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaazing.
Lol. Another that sweeps dx9/ut recent train wrecks under the carpet. Must be contagious! So let me get this straight. You class broken waist joints, soaked figures, arms that fall off and tabs that are missaligned along with scuffs, scratches and finger prints as 'some issues'. I'd love to know what xtb/kfv has done worse over the same time frame! This double standards ppl have is absolutely ridiculous. Serious question. Has Keith kiĺled your pet?
XTB are quite inconsistent, but KFC is a lot better. I know you like FT a lot, but you have to acknowledge that they also have problems like every one else! FT is a top notch company (not my favorite) but they mess up "something" (design, qc, etc) from time to time.
