Is it too early to ask for a repaint?
I have a feeling that's overall height to the top of his wings.
Time will tell.
Why are people wanting smaller? The toy was small but, Powerglide wasnt.
Clue's in his sub grouping. Minibot.
It's why there's a fair few ppl passing on BC Wardog as he's just too big for ppl.
OK bought.When its due?
I am getting sick and tired of these companies producing so many figures that I want. I might have to get a second job.
Two are not enough, ask me.....
Yeah, while I'm still interested in the figure, I hope they reconsider that die-cast placement. Even if it's just a little bit of die-cast, I'd rather it go somewhere in the lower legs or feet if the figure has to have die-cast.
This could be my MP Powerglide.... we'll see what the other companies have to reveal. Bring on the Powerglide wars!
I just don't see why. Neither one of those two were minibots unless we are talking about the toys. Either way, I like them being bigger.
Exactly. Can you imagine how BC Wardog would look if they "went small"?
I'm confused about the lead arms myself, I guess it's a diecast thing. I would have preferred the enginebvents were diecast if anything.
Hopefully.....still looks great.
Yeah I just use my generations Warpath...works for me.
I'm trying to find a Powerglide compatible with Wardog so I'm in agreement, "unfortunately" I have the veteran version (which looks bad-ass in alt mode) but I was kinda hoping BC would make a Powerglide "veteran" companion figure ... which looks more unlikely as time passes ... womp
Would be cool in theory, but the alt mode on this DX9 one doesn't look as much A-10 Warthog like. The Cobra Rattler took a lot of cues from the A10 (just like the Combiner Wars legends-sized version of Powerglide and repaints) so the repaint looks more appropriate there.
Every time I say "This is going to be my first official DX-9 purchase", someone else makes a better version of the character IMO.
That said, this guy looks pretty spot on. I'm so ready for a Powerglide in my collection.
no one else announced a Powerglide right?
Sure but that means unnecessary paint chipping and extra weight that could throw off the balance, not to mention that the arms tab in under the wings, so you're going to need some very solid tabs and joints for the arms to not weigh the wings down or, worse, detach from the arms from sheer gravity alone.
6 inches?...I'm a little surprised by that. I thought he would be about FT Spindrift size at about 4.75 inches, 5 at the most. 6 inches puts him at about Deluxe Cyclonus height....maybe the advertised height is a misprint/mistake?...
