This guy puts me one step closer to financial freedom
That's how I like it. Don't cock tease me for a year or more
This needs to be released like tomorrow. That way I can commit to a DX9 figure and not look back.
The only thing that I'm having a hard time getting over are how his arms are handled in plane mode. I get that there's going to be kibble on the underside of the wing, but even the G1 toy was able to make the arms look like pylons that kinda belonged there. These just look like boxes stapled to the plane. I can't pry my eyes away from it. It's especially frustrating because the rest of the toy looks so damn perfect.
Still on the fence with this guy, but at the very least the sculpt, engineering (less the arms), build quality and finish on display here make me VERY excited for DX9's Gabriel.
well pre ordering this went out the window last night spent £150 on records
I wouldn't sweat it. There will be plenty of copies available the day it drops. It's not like there any preorder incentives.
I'm in the same boat. Really surprised they didn't make the forearms using an origami panel structure so they could be folded around the upper arm in alt mode.
I think everything about the figure is win, but those arms look like ass in plane mode, whether they're "accurate" or not.
You should really be posting in a Seaspray thread then....
not worried just that was my plan yeserday but got carried away with the vinyl
Yeah, but it needed bot arms with hollow forearms and hands with zero articulation to do it.
I don't have time right now to draw out the design I'm thinking of, but it didn't need either of those things.
The design as is is just a little lazy, or maybe trying to keep parts count down.
