Valve changed the name of Windrunner.

Don't think there is much Blizzard left if any at all inside of DOTA2. That game is so incredibly boring also. I read a kotaku article before about pros mentioning it not even being that fun - it's just a numbers thing and something to get good at/make money from.

I much prefer Heroes of the Storm to the alternatives. Many maps. Encourages group gameplay. Shared levels - unique heroes, instead of say "fire lady" "ice girl" and dark elf girl - their heroes seem super genric and I guess it feels as such as they were just Bizzards characters before; husks of what they should be.

Besides. Valve is Valve. This is some random (to them, to most of the world) Chinese company whom will be making money from their IP. Not like it'll ever hurt them tho.

 

The figure is awesome. I hope the legs in turret mode allow it to go lower like in the game model. The prototype pics looks a bit tall.

 

Mercedes, Apple, BMW and of Course dinky little Hastak. Just some of the Companies that can't get shit done about IP "theft" in China. Blizzard are somehow scarier Corporately and Legally than those guys?

If they go after anyone domestically selling this then maybe, but if DX9 want to make one then it's getting made.

I might, depending on price.......just for the Diarthrosis and giggles.

 

Even though it isn't 100% accurate, I'm still super excited that someone is doing 3P Overwatch figures and I am absolutely on board. I want a Reinhardt! I'm hoping it goes that far!

 

I like this idea and I hope it comes out soon....would love to have Freeman with my figma/figuarts.

Really hope nothing bad comes of this with blizzard. Would suck if they just ban hammer anyone who owns one.

Sorry, but blizzard aint making nice toys that I want, and figma / SH Figuarts havent either for them, so this is really nice of DX-9.

I wish they would put it on preorder soon so i know if i can afford it, and start allocating money for it if I can.

you beat me to it. These 3P offerings directly compete with Hasbro toy offerings, and they haven't done anything. It's not like the $7B the company is worth is paltry. I would assume this isn't even a blip on Blizzard's (a game company) radar regardless of how much money they have.

More tempted by this now that we're finally getting our first piece of official non-Funko merch for the game and it's just a boring-ass statue. If nobody else is going to make Overwatch figures with joints then I'll take a serious look at this.
