Genji was already confirmed and theirs about a 99% certainty they'll do Dva and Widowmaker given how hard those two in particular appeal to the general anime figure collector market just as Tracer does. What I wanna know is if figma Dva happens will DX9 then make her mech for her, cause that'd be bad ass as fuck.
Well, I know. But I mean out on TFsource or something. Ugh. I hate TFSource to death but they're the only store that I know anything about. I really don't want to give them a single penny of my money. How's Action Robo as a site? They any good? Calling it now. Max Factory is gonna do a big EX Ride. It isn't out of the question considering they did a tank for the Oorai Senshado team.
Looks a bit better on the box photos than it does in that video review, although that might just be due to camera angles. Problem with Bastion is that the CG model actually cheats a bit, with some of the parts partially clipping through each other in order to compress his profile as much as it does in Sentry and Tank configurations. A physical toy of course can't pull this sort of trickery, so that's where we wind up with the taller-looking alt-modes. One thing I'm kinda missing here, though, is I don't think I've ever seen his chest tray extended to reveal his "power core". That's kind of an important detail for his Sentry configuration, and it would be weird as hell if they omitted it.
As far as the tank height I felt that partsforming it would be the best solution as you could mount the body lower on the tread assemblies for a lower profile. Not a deal breaker at all but nothing's perfect, yeah? Also, you're right. I don't think it's been seen in the photos. That'd be one cheat-as-hell Bastion without a power core to shoot... Good to know. I'll order from 'em right away when I get paid. I do worry that Activision-Blizzard might crack down on this guy. I had the same scare with Artfigure's Heavy Armored Special Cop, the unlicensed 2012 Dredd 1/6th figure from a few years ago. 2000AD cracked down on sites selling it and I managed to snag one before they became super rare.

Yeah. I'm definitely looking forward to Genji. I really do hope Dva is announced next and a her Meka would be a very nice addtion! I'm just scared to think about how much a function and in-scale Meka would cost. Haha. Maybe I'll be convinced to get the DX9 Freeman in the future when I can see it displayed along side the Figma Tracer. But for now I will just admire from a far. Haha.
Had a shut up and take my money moment last night and nabbed the first one on ebay. That should be in the mail along with Figma Tracer from Blizzard (who knows how long that'll take to arrive). Squeeeeee...
If it helps, the biggest EX Ride that Max Factory did was the PzKpfw-IV Ausf.D. Basically a tank that could fit 5 figmas in it. It cost 150 bucks, but the real killer was shipping it as it was huge. Really, Meka won't be nearly as big as the tank was. Going by how Figma prices have been inflated, my generous estimate might be about 100-120 bucks.
Mine only just got shipped out yesterday but have faith he'll show up on friday. AR shipments usually pretty fast for me.
Lol. I am definitely looking forward to it but it's gonna be a long wait. I guess that's good to hear. Though that might also depend on how articulated the Meka ends up being and whether or not that will effect the price a lot. We can only wait and see though.
Got mine. I'd give him a 9.5 out of 10. Some minor nitpicks I have but overall fucking awesome figure he is. Vid review will be up shortly.
He looks awesome. Almost. Like pretty awesome. Those colors are the only thing that bug me a bit. I really wish it was a bit darker/weathered overall. Kinda like this:
