Me too. If you wait for DX9 and nothing materializes the FT version will dry up and be on secondary market for something like 800 bucks. I thought the whole point of DX9 announcing Gabriel was to beat FT to the punch.

I feel this way as well. Would really love to see some comparisons, to know if it's worth jumping on the FT train while the getting is good. Both FT and DX9's lineups are kind of a mixed bag for me, so it's hard to know which of these two versions I'll ultimately prefer. I'm leaning toward DX9 right now, but maybe it has a fatal flaw, who knows? Would love an update.

From their FB page, new prototype image, and they mention some modifications. See below:

"Sorry for the delay caused by the modification. A yellow ladder was added to the base form. It is more stable and integrated. The colorful version is coming soon"

Wow, he looks awesome. I really hope they stick with the intention of doing a scaled down version for their War in Pocket line.

Just when I thought I was satisfied with my Terminus decision.

    Yes! An update!

I passed on FT's cause of price, and liked Gabe's crotch area set up better. (Did I just type that?!)

G1 Omega did nothing for me, and watching his demise by blockbuster (a friend's, not mine) back in middle school is actually a fantastic memory.

Both FT's and DX's have really brought this guy to life in a great way.

I kind of had the opposite reaction, this image made me more satisfied with Terminus. However, I still plan on getting both.

Looks better than Ft proportionally IMO. If the quality and colours are on point I can see me swapping over.

Funny, I kinda wished they had worked on how the tracks looked in bot mode. That's what TG has over him. Otherwise Gabriel is looking pretty good.

Yeah, he looks good. They have done a great job with his proportions; making him look sleek and intimidating instead of boxy or squat.

If they can take what they have done with the MP and shrink it down to War in Pocket scale it will be great.

Not sure if I have room in my apartment for a figure this big but both versions of OS look great. I'm generally a fanstoys guy but I'll probably go with this version if it's of comparable quality. I was very impressed with richthofen so hopefully this will follow suit.

Looks good. I guess they listened to some people complaining about lack of ramps and added them.

It looks ok. Obviously color would help, but besides a slightly better hip design I think I made the best choice for me with FT. If he doesn't sell out, I might grab one in the spring when I have budget space. This stretch right now is full of things I need first.

This looks pretty good, but aside from a better hip design I still prefer Terminus. I do like the little pistons they added to Gabriel's knees to make that joint a little less jarring than it is on TG, but that's less important to me than the overall aesthetic. Gabriel feels a bit slimmer and trimmer to me, and I don't want that. I like how massive and heavy (in an aesthetic sense, not actual weight) TG is. They are both worthy choices though, and DX9's really been stepping up their game recently so happy to see that they are following through on this.

Seems good. Now we have to see if they were able to engineer better knees and transformation than the fanstoys one.

What you mean specifically? The tracks or wings can be extended withdrawn in bot mode, there are 2 configurations for which you prefer.
