The question I have is will the Blu-Ray come out day and date with the DVD, or will they delay it.

Is Paramount & DreamWorks supporters of Blu-Ray or HD-DVD or both?

The movie isn't even in theaters yet...and you're worrying about the DVD o_O ?

Anyways, I wouldn't expect it for a while..either late into the holiday season or (more likely) next year.

Both. I think all three versions will release on the same day. A big, VFX summer blockbuster deserves high-def.

The real question is when will they come out with the "Director's Cut Special Masterpiece Ultimate Mega Extended 1.5 I-Can't-Believe-I'm-Double-Dipping-Just-So-I-Can-See-More-Special-Features" Edition? ;)

I'll have to buy two copies on DVD. That way when I wear out the first one, I'll still have the other one to watch. :)

God, I hope not. Special Features I can do without, but I'd rather not double-dip the film itself. Blu-ray discs are thirty bucks a pop.

Lets just hope it's not one of those other live action that their dvds will sit on a shelf for a long time that they have to be put in a discount bin just like X-men 3, the incredible hulk and other movie that were old cartoons/comics.
