    It isn't Dumbledore's being gay... I don't have any problem with homosexuality... it's just that for some reason or another Harry Potter doesn't appeal to me as much as it used to.

    Well, considering he said "Dumbledore's gay... no wonder I'm veering away from Harry Potter..." it's understandable that you would come to that conclusion.

    This thread is full of comedy. I guarantee that if Rowling answered the question with "Dumbledore is straight, and was once in love with Magarnagel" no one here would have an issue with such a "pointless" reveal.
