Doesn't sound dumb to me at all. What is so dumb about it?

My wife does it with my kids all the time.

With dog food, particularly with all the stories going around about it being tainted?? I doubt she'd try the dog food out, but heh, I'll give the benefit of the doubt.

I wouldn't even feed Dog Food to a dog. So i have little sympathy for her.

    Poor dog though.

You didn't read the story then. She didn't hear the stories and then try the food. She tried the food and then weeks later heard the stories.

Still, you're not getting my point, drippy. Your wife wouldn't try the dog food. Come on!

So now the issue is about whether people can eat dog food?

I personally wouldn't want to, but the logic behind why she did it is perfectly sound and far from dumb. It's not like it made up any significant portion of her diet. She took a bite or two to get her pet to eat.

Are people that eat baby food to get their kids to eat just as dumb?

    For crying out loud:

    Quote:

After noticing her dog, Missy, wasn't eating, Larabie said she took bites of Iams pet food in order to trick the terrier into thinking it was people food.

    That's DUMB.

No it isn't. People do it all the time.

I just explained how in my view it's not. You didn't respond in any way to my explanation and merely quoted what I've already quoted.

Just because you wouldn't take a bite of dog food to encourage your pet to eat doesn't mean the act is dumb.

    *shrug*

    Yup.

I think were missing the bigger point that the dog was smarter than the lady because it refused to eat the TAINTED FOOD!!!!

I don't see how taking a nibble of food to encourage a dog to eat is dumb. I did it with my beagle. She had just gotten over a real bad sickness and refused to it, so I had to coerce her into eating it. Well I must be one dumb mother fucker then.
