    HE'S BACK!

I've never been this excited for new Lego sets! Never!
    Wow. They're so beautiful!

So far, we know of 4 sets.

    Raiders of the Lost Ark:

271 parts - Indy & monkey in transport truck, Nazi Officer's car with machine gunners spot, and 2 Nazi soldiers. It could include Sallah.

277 parts - Indy & Marion Ravenwood, the inner temple that houses the Ark, the Ark of the Covenant, artifacts, axes, jewels, cobwebs, a skeleton, and SNAKES! Why'd it have to be snakes?

540 parts - The entire temple from the beginning of the film! Indy, savage natives, a skeleton, Satipo, Jock, Belloq, Jock's plane, dangerous temple booby traps, the giant stone ball, and most likely the famous golden idol and bag of sand.

Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade:

76 parts - Indy & Dad with map on motorbike with sidecar, a roadside booth with crates, and a Nazi soldier on a motorbike.

Oooh! Those look great! Are they really going to be worth the over-inflated price that Lego charges for it's sets, though?

    Agreed.

I wouldn't be surprised if we'd see TransFormers Lego playsets in a near future. At least I heard from Lego Denmark (country of origin) that they had a couple of new planned production lines going.

Agreed. Can a mod please change it to "First pictures of Indiana Jones LEGO sets!"

The good thing though, is all these sets do not have an insane amount of parts, so hopefully they wont be too expensive. However, they all have a good number of LEGO mini-figures in them. That might raise the prices up.

Somehow I don't think they're gonna do one of the book-burning scene from Crusade - although they totally should. Ooh and one of the Zeppelin scene, complete with "No ticket" action!

    Nice!

I don't like Lego, but this could be the start of a wave of indy stuff.

1: Nice information about the legos.

2: Fix the topic so it describes what the thread is about.

Meh. I expected better from LEGO. The big set looks neat, but they all look so fragile.

Not terribly impressed by these. I guess anything can be done in Lego style now that they will just accept any license.

I don't see how anyone can complain about the thread title, when people start threads with titles such as "would you...." or "what about..."
    On topic:
YUM. Do want all of these sets.

Indiana Jones merchandise and the use of the word 'rad' in just the first two posts alone. Its like 1989 all over again. yay nostalgia!

Personally, the lego sets didn't excite me like the Adventure Heroes line did.

I at least hope we get sets from The Temple of Doom and from The kingdon of the Crystal Skull.

Some other good set ideas would be:

    1. The spot where Belloq & the Nazis open the Ark, and their faces melt off, Indy and Marion are tied to the wooden post.

    2. The Temple of Doom (interior) where a crazed Indy attacks Short Round, that bad guy that gets sucked into the cage machinery that lowers the cage with Willie down into the lava pit, and the evil Mola Ram (with ceremonial headdress) has the five Sankara stones.

    3. The bridge from the Temple of Doom between the two cliff faces, where Indy (with sword and the bag with the five Sankara stones) cuts the ropes while Short Round, Willie, Mola Ram, and his henchmen hang on for dear life because of the crocodiles below.

    4. The Temple in The Last Crusade with it's Nazi occupied main room, where an injured Henry Jones lies, while Indy retrieves the Holy Grail, carefully venturing through a booby trapped passageway (saw blades, invisible walkway), and the Knight in his chamber with all the fake Holy Grails that Elsa has Walter Donovan drink from.
