Okay, so I've used 70% isoprophyl alcohol, 90% isoprophyl alcohol, Goo Gone and "The Purple Stuff" automotive cleaner to try and strip the paint off of the Universe RID Prowl.

Nothing's taking the paint off, and I feel like a fool.

Does anyone know what the mysterious magic trick is to remove RID paint apps?

I don't think it's RiD specific. The stuff used to paint translucent plastics is just different, and isn't removable with that stuff.

I seem to recall that it's baked on somehow during the molding process, so that it actually bonds to the plastic.

Hey Ops, did you ever find a way to remove the paint? I am trying to remove the "decals" off of Prowl and Sideburn. Any tips?

That's the super-toxic, banned in the USA unless in a cured state, Chinese-factory-enamel-super-paint! Acetone is your only weapon in most cases. Watch out tho because it melts hard plastic if left on for too long. Use a pure-white bounty towel too, acetone can transfer the print off printed paper towels to your figure.
