I've been studying these pics and it looks like this model was made from the ILM model. There is so much detail!

 

I wonder how many radicons will ber using parts off the model kit to upgrade the let figures. I know I want to try and find someone to cast parts for myself!

 

I just can't wait for the Radicons to put some sweet paint jobs on these! If they are half as good as I've seen on the ROTF leader Prime then I will be blown away... especially since this looks to be 99.99% screen-accurate.

I'm thinking about doing some silver dry brushing for some weathering effects, but IDK if I can trust myself with it being $80-$100.

EDIT: Oh man, I just thought... if someone does a battle damaged version, my mind will be blown.

That would be sssick! That and a jetfire armor like I've seen on several leader prime customs. Oh I so wish they'll do armor/jetpack upgrades on this guy. Come on BBTS!

I hope there is still some left on AmiAmi in a week or two. I'm getting some extra money to look after some pets while a friend is on vacation, but AmiAmi is the cheapest @ $80 and I'd really like not to spend more than that.

EDIT: I've never ordered from AmiAmi... does anyone know how much shipping will be?

Ooooo god this is making more tempting to order this from Amiami but I'm pretty confindent that BBTS will be getting their's in this week so just need to be patience.

 

Gaaah-Damn, This is nice. Nice enough to ignore my "no transformers that don't transform" policy. Damn, I don't know, there's so much expensive shit coming that I don't know where to allocate my limited funds.

 

They charged me 3840 Yen for EMS. SAL would be cheaper, but also a good bit slower and I'm not sure if you have insurance with SAL. I believe the total with EMS shipping came out to about $130, which is the same price with shipping as BBTS, but I'll get it a lot faster so I don't mind the price so much. I should have this tomorrow or Tuesday if I'm lucky.

 

I ordered with sal but amiami. Changed it to ems I guess the box must be too big

Woohoo! Just got my email confirmation from BBTS stating they have my dual model kit Optimus in stock. This week just keeps getting better  . Now where's my HA Leadfoot come on Target  .

 

Yes! Ordered processed at BBTS! What's this I hear about parts falling off? Should I use some type of glue?

 

It's here! Going to get started on it today and so I should be done with it in a few days. I'll take some photos and put them in the feedback thread when I finish it or I guess I can make one if there isn't one by then. By the way, the instructions look to be the same style as Bandai Gundam instructions, so nobody should have too hard a time following them.
