Couldn't find anything related to this on other threads so I figured I'd post my own. Found these at a comic shop in Syracuse, NY and found the packaging to be quite unique. They are a Jetpower Optimus Prime and a Megatron keychain. Even my girlfriend, a VERY un-informed TF admirer (think monkeys with shiny objects) spotted the differences with the packaging. I was going to buy them, but wasn't sure if it was really worth it. I understand the astronomical success of the movie, but that doesn't mean you should start letting things slide...

Let me know what you guys think, post any other misprints you see, are these things worth buying?

I also recently saw this when I went to walmart. I think I saw another Prime with a bumblebee head.

Maybe I´m wrong but I think all the Autobot keychans have BB´s head on the packaging and all the Decepticons have Starscream´s head on the packaging... :/

I actually like it that, mis-print or not, the Robot Heroes Final Battle pack has the names on the top of the box in the wrong order over the characters inside.

Misprints are hit or miss where value is concerned. Some people value them less, some more. No matter what, there's a market for misprints out there, and maybe someday the value will go up.

Yeah I'm torn. They're cool to have, but I really don't have the extra money to spend on oddities and quarky stuff like that. Still brings a smile to my face to find stuff like that though.

Its not a misprint or mistake. Rather, it is intentional.

Most of the minor movie merchandise, like keychains, danglers, etc .. use a standard Bumblebee head for the Autobots, and Starscream/Megs for the Decepticons.

some consider misprint packages to add extra value, and there are some that call it a detraction from value , to me it doesn't matter

Would these errors make them more valuable in the future? I know for baseball and football cards that is often the case.

It could, depending on how wide spread the error was.

I remember, back in the day, I got Targetmaster Scourge. There was a misprint on the box. If I would have left it in the box, instead of taking it out and playing with it (and threw away the box), I could sell it for a lot of money.

see now even barricade thinks he is sideways!

Yeah i'm not sure, but some are worth more than others. I don't think I've seen to many misprints to be honest...
