We don't know that for sure. Its created based on sand worms like how Ravage and Laserbeak were based on Jaguars and eagle/dinosaurs/dragons. The Driller is probably a type of fauna from Cybertron like Ravage and Laserbeak.
Wether it will be named in the film or not I can't know for sure, but I'm almost positive the name is Dweller. Someone over at tflive.blogspot.com, which apparently had a female name admitted she was an employee and said that's "dweller" or "driller", can't remember, back when the first teaser revealed the behemoth. Was she lying? idk, but it made sense to me.
i thought his name was driller and he was some kinda of Cybertronian wildlife modified like Laserbeak and Ravage but thats what i saw either somewhere on here or seibertron
Yeah I guess. Its probably the same size as the worm in Dune. The shot of shockwave cocking his gun in the trailer you can see the Driller's tail leaning against the building at the end of the block.
I still think that Squidwardacon is angry that the secret ingredients for the Krabby Patty got leaked, and is taking it out on that building.
Instead of calling it the Driller, could we please just name it the Dweller? I know it's not official. But due to the resemblance, and because Dweller sounds more.. Unique?
If they wanted to slap a Transformers name on it, I'd go with Tentakil. Driller or Dweller seems most likely though. I believe there were rumours of a Cyberverse Plus Shockwave set, odds are if this is true, yes we will get a toy of Driller.
