    Here is a pic I colored, the line art came from neurowing from DA I hope you like. The background is just to break up all the white.

    I think you did a nice job on this!

    The foreground character and the background are competing a bit for attention, though. I would recommend subduing that background some.

    here is a pic with both Drift and Blade together. The two of them are color projects but i am very proud of them considering when i started doing tfs my art was nothing like this and I am still blown away by it :)

    Blade is fan made based on one of the unnamed knights in the Drift comics :)  and thanks :)

    blade is much better because there is a more defined light source, quite obviously coming from the top-left (although a more more contrast would help, more difference between highlights and shadows), it looks like with drift you had a little more difficultly trying to figure out exactly where the shadows should go.

    the best possible thing you can do is to get a figure and shine a lamp at it, and turn off the main light in your room.

    this will show you exactly where shadows and highlights should fall.

    yeah I know, and i am still learning techniques and this was my 4th coloring so I am getting better with the more I do and practice with

    I love Drift!! and what you've done so far...I would just give the pics some deeper shadowing to make the mid range colors and the highlights "pop" even more!!
