Transformers: Drift #1 (of 4)
Looks great, i will definitely get this.
Looks promising. Can't wait to read all of it.
I wish I had a comic book store near me!!! I want this one.
looks awesome! definitely getting this!
I like it! And guest appearances by
Metalhawk, G2 Dreadwing and Smokescreen!
Heh. Deadlock is a winning-obsessed psychopath.
Deadlock toy plz.
The opening battle looks like the opening of Last Stand of the Wreckers issue 1, except not as good.
Hey look, Boss is on the bottom of page 2 (the blue guy who has shoulders like Earth mode Drift).
Other cameos I can ID:
*G2 Jetstorm (Decepticon with big shoulder wheels)
*G1 Fearswoop (yellow winged Decepticon)
*Skyjack (black and red winged Decepticon)
*G2 Ransack (purple Decepticon with teal lower arms)
*Metalhawk (the guy Sunstreaker is helping)
and G2 Smokescreen and Dreadwing, of course.
I think that yellow Autobot who dies is Electro?
I hope that purple and gold guy Deadlock killed wasn't Carnivac, because he's alive in the future. The colouration made me instantly think of him.
Actually it looks way better than Wreckers. Love Milne's work.
wow, i had no hope in this comics... but it really looks cool xD
Apparently there was a mistake on page 1 that somebody thankfully caught before publication and modified the colours.
There are textless images of these pages up on Deviantart that seem to show G2 Manta Ray as the blue and yellow Autobot whom Deadlock kills on page 1, but unfortunately Manta Ray is supposed to survive up to the present, where he was killed off by Nova Prime in Spotlight: Doubledealer.
I'm intrigued. Didn't expect events jumping to what they did so soon, honestly.
This series might actually be good compared to the semi-train-wreck the ongoing is.
It's more than a semi-train wreck. Ongoing needs a new editor and writer. Drift is gonna be better than that nonsense the Wreckers was.
I think you are a minority in that Wreckers opinion there, old bean.
And that explains a lot of how your brain processes information.
Wait Drift was...
Not the type you'd expect looking for redemption.
I like what I'm seeing so far. Will be picking this one up tomorrow.
Eh, I'll bite. How was Last Stand nonsense?
