nope, don't even want to humor it. The original cast is what brought the movie together and characters as memorable as they are.

I would recast George Lucas with an Elephant. Or maybe a Zebra, what ever wouldn't butcher shit up with shitty CGI and a poorly written story. God how I hate the prequel trilogy!

Let's just recast the damn thing with Gungans as the Empire and Ewoks as the Rebellion. Then replace all of Jabba's palace with a never ending loop of JEDI ROCKS.

It would be a sure hit and I bet what George Lucas envisioned all those years ago back when Luke was a midget.

The original trilogy is just perfect how it is. No way can you replace any of them how dare youuu

I can think of a million replacements forthe new trilogy though :lol

Im one of the rare few who liked the new ones, thought they were fun and inspired me to blow alot of dough on more SW toys.
But that Vader kid makes it very very hard to watch. Any one would've done it better (Mark Wahlberg's my choice) , but a fresh faced no namer actor would've been perfect.

Like Luke Skywalker was back in the day. Never heard of him before he was Luke.

The closest thing to a remake of the original Trilogy I would be ok with are animated takes on them. Maybe even a show kinda like the Clone Wars one on now.

The only new Live action Star Wars movies I want to see made are the episodes following RotJ. Let's just leave the original Trilogy alone.

Dear God please no. We have seen enough changes (special editions, etc.).

Leave it alone and let it be.

To me what's more perplexing are some of your character choices. I mean...Mon Mothma? She had, what? Two lines and 30 seconds of screen time in Jedi? Who the hell cares?

Yeah, this. Although an animated Shadows of the Empire could be awesome too. Some more Vader goodness.

I'd really enjoy seeing an all-CG remake with Ahmed Best doing the voices for every single character.

    Fillion for Solo
    Adam Baldwin for Greedo
    Jared from Supernatural for luke
    Portman for Leia
    Ewan for Ben
    Worthington for Boba Fett
    Michael Clarke Duncan for Vader
    Johnny Knoxville for Wedge
    Michelle Rodriguez for Biggs

    But NO!

    Love your sig. Starscream rocks.
I would recast in a different direction. So, hypothetically, if it was cast today:

    Luke Skywalker: Thomas Dekker
    Princess Leia: Summer Glau
    Han Solo: John Barrowman
    Darth Vader (voice): Michael Ironside
    Obi Wan: Pierce Brosnan
    Lando Calrissian: Clive Owen
    Emperor: Morgan Freeman

...all this aside, part of me still wants a "Monty Python's Star Wars" film.

It'll happen....eventually. I just hope it's in another 30 or 40 years, and if so, bring it on.
