I found it interesting that Dreadwing fights differently than other Decepticons that we've seen so far. Also who thinks that Starscream could take him if he didn't have time to prepare by setting bombs up all over the place?

As of "Operation: Bumblebee, Part 2", I am confused dearly on Starscream's fighting ability. Though strictly in the context of him being the former leader of the Seekers, he probably would've known how to take on Dreadwing, and win, years before. The issue would be then, how much has Dreadwing evolved, and Starscream devolved since the war for Cybertron.

Dreadwing would probably beat the ever-loving sh*t of Starscream. His own flight-capable form, plus superior strength and firepower, would easily allow him to decimate Screamer in a straight fight. And since Dreadwing is just as underhanded as Star, he wouldn't be caught off-guard by dirty tricks like Arcee did.

Dreadwing's scheming battle nature is the only mildly interesting thing about him.

I also like how he is a bomb specialist.

Same here. We have yet to see Starsceram giving all he has in a fight without him being too occupied with mocking his opponent, having his wings clamped or being stuck in a a cave.

In his bios it says that he was "one of the finest Air Warriors", so maybe he could take Dreadwing on in the sky, not in a grounded hand-to-hand combat.

It's not every day that we get a literal Demoman class in Transformers.

He and Warpath must now engage in fisticuffs.

I wrote a bomb-specialist character who blew up stuff [Hell, his main weapon was a grenade launcher!] in my fanfic one full year before Dreadwing appeared, but did anyone care? NOOO, NO ONE CAARED. UNFAIR WORLD. :mad

    [I am kidding of course]

I LOVE how much of Demoman he is, I hope he really brings the bombs in the future, including projectile.

That actually could be a really good point. I know I want to see more of Starscream's aerial combativeness. When the Vehicon chased Starscream in "Orion Pax, Part 2", the first thing I thought was "Starscream is going to rape ALL of you", and until the outside gun got 'em, he was butchering them, awesomely.

Starscream doesn't have a chance against Dreadwing unless SS has something planned in advance.

Dreadwing used bombs and terrain to his advantage. And he's the first cybertronian of the series to constantly using a same device, for more than 1 function, remote control and signaler. He's more like a solider than a warrior.

He definitely adds a new interesting aspect to the show.

    It's okay Waspinator lol.

It's cool how Dreadwing is an actual specialist instead of just being generic TF that can fight, as everyone else seems to be in this show (except Vehicons, who kinda just.. shoot, miss and get destroyed). I would really like a sniper to be in the show, but only rarely, because sniping can get boring sometimes if the autobots always have someone ready to pick off the combat

I bet he plays as the Demoman during Team Fortress 2.

But in all seriousness it's interesting to see some impressive Strategy.

His bombs are a little too convenient. Oh, surprise Bulkhead ambush! Joke's on you, there's a bomb right under you! What are the chances? I'll be on my way now...

Other than his really convenient bomb placement, he seems to either run to other bombs or whip out his BFG and go Rambo on everyone.

I doubt Starscream would stand a chance at all. He'll poop himself then gloat then go back to pooping himself. And he can't transform, so...

I like the fact that his bombs are detonated by a cellular phone, sized for a transformer.

Yes! Dreadwing's bombs were quite conveniently placed, but then we can just assume he put them EVERYWHERE...but where does he get so many lol

I think the show may have explained this.

Starscream is quite capable at fighting but is extremely incompetent. Spends to much time gloating and sometimes just acts plain stupid. The only reason Megatron made him second in command was for a laugh and is way too much of an egotistical moron to ever consider that something could happen to him or just didn't care what happened to the Cons after his death and was too stupid to consider capture or stasis.

It'd be hard to say whether Dreadwing or Starscream would win in a battle. If Dreadwing had the time he may get the advantage with placing bombs, but Starscream was an Air Commander so he may have some knowledge of the tactics used by a captain of a seeker army.

If it was a sudden meeting which they started fighting with no prep time before, I'd give it to Starscream at first, but then give Dreadwing the better chance as time went on. Starscream can do damage as a first strike (VS Arcee in Partners), but when the fight goes on, he loses the focus and starts acting more conceited, giving his opponent a chance to turn the tide around.

Of course canon wise as of now, Starscream probably wouldn't win either way seeing as he can't transform into a jet due to his T-cog being cut out of him by MECH. Maybe something in future episodes will allow him to transform again or even give him some kind of advantage on the battlefield.

Yep! His voice, Movieverse Ironhide's voice, ROTF-Fallen's voice, Prime-Unicron's voice, among others.

    Buut this is getting off-topic..
