Nothing "ZOMG EARTH-SHATTERING," but I thought I'd share this. So, Amazon has the soundtrack for season one of TF: Prime available for pre-order. It comes out on March 20.

However, something I found quite peculiar is that--despite the soundtrack saying that it only covers music from season one--it has a track entitled "Dreadwing." Anyone know what's up with that? Did Brian Tyler already compose a theme for Dreadwing during season one? Is it just a coincidence he did a song by that name? Or is this soundtrack covering some season two music, too?

Sounds more like Seasons 1 and 2 on one CD...fine with me.  

Just ordered...now why can't we get a DOTM CD?...I mean really...Some folks still have CD players in their cars you know.  

 

Interesting. Wasn't the soundtrack going to be released about a year ago, but then cancelled? I still haven't seen the show, but I have listened to some of the music, and it's pretty good. I might get this.

Yeah but when we first heard about that OST it had only 10 songs, this one has 25!

 

There's a difference between misspelling a name, and being clever.

 

I think it's supposed to be stratagem. I don't remember if the line has been said in show yet or not, but I remember a video of Peter Cullen recording lines for Optimus where he says something like 'Autobots, same stratagem' in reference to a battle strategy.

That would make sense..and yeah, I remember Optimus saying something like that.  

Looks like the person who uploaded the info either couldn't type or spell... well, it's not the first time I've seen that happen...time to go back there and suggest some corrections.  

 

Wow, I wasn't expecting the soundtrack to ever get released, but I'm so glad it was! I'll be getting this ASAP!   Oh Prime, you make my wallet cry...  

 

"24. Prime Finale" Hrm...

 

The dialogue was altered in the final airing, but you hear it in Darkness Rising Part 5. The other part is "follow Ratchet's lead" which you do hear. It's when they overload the Spacebridge.

 

Maybe Dreadwing was in Season 1. We uh... just missed him.

Is it not entirely possible that the track is actually called Arachnid? after the name of the spider species?
