So, the SDCC placard in front of the Voyager Dreadwing toy said July '12, so why have we not seen this toy yet at retail? I find that in general the placards are about 2 months late from when the toy will see retail release (i.e., a Sept placard means we may start seeing them as early as July at retail), so this means that we should have started seeing Dreadwing back in June or late May, but obviously not. Anyone heard anything on when DW should start hitting?
Whenever stores order more cases, I suppose. All the ones near me still have Wave 1 and 2 Voyagers on shelves.
which decisions would those be? The release of the Voyager Grimlock fans have been clamoring for? The remolding of 5 toys into the Wreckers? The release of 2 Masterpiece figures? Please...tell me which "Decisions" you mean.
I mean't in context of delaying and/or cancelling most of the promising products. Not to mention the horrible product distribution. Don't get me wrong, the products that have been revealed in the past month or so have been Fantastic at least. It's just we are not getting them in they way we should be getting them.
Which is...? Product distribution has nothing to do with Hasbro. It has everything to do with retailers ordering what they want and don't want. You must mean case ratios, in which yeah, it was pretty bad in DOTM, but the Prime wave 4 case distribution got better with the existence of the revision case. Targets, Toys R Us and Fred Meyers around Oregon are starting to get in FoC stuff. If there's such a bad distribution problem then why are almost all major retailers in Oregon are getting the newest and hottest product...?
The dates that Hasbro gives are usually their projected dates based on retailer orders. The problem is if a store doesn't order then they don't show up regardless of Hasbro trying to sell it or not.
