After seeing the update at Hasbro's website we know of the three Dreads Crowbar, Crankcase and Hatchet. They all have different alt modes. Than why is it that that we saw three Suburbans in previous videos? Could it be that the changed alt modes?

I was wondering that aswell. Perhaps those clones are only clones of Crankcase, and the other two dreads are entirely computer animated?

Maybe Crankcase is the only onscreen Dread, and Hatchet and Crowbar are toy-only designs. Who knows?

i hope there arent clones. it would be weird to have to be 3 crackases, but only 1 crowbar and 1 hatchet.

crowbar still transforms into a black truck (i think) because i though i remembered seeing toys of that...and hasbro used the same toy's pics for that website.

i think there is a group of dreads all of which chose different alt modes...the names crowbar, crankcase and hatchet are probablly done by hasbro for the toys.......but i do think the part in the trailer where the dreads pop up from under the ground on the moon the one further back n to the left looks to be hatchet

it would also be cool if the dreads were present in the first movie...in the scene where barricade picks up frenzy at the airport there are a couple big black suburbans in the background just like the dreads alt modes

    There are two possibilities:

1: The Dreads is a catch all term for the new Decepticon troopers.
2: They have the same altmodes with different robot modes. However, Hasbro is opposed to selling toys that look the same in their vehicle forms, so they gave them new ones to differentiate them.

When the space bridge opens in D.C you see a couple of Decepticon soldiers. look carefully you will see a dread running like an animal as seen on the moon.
