Wasn't really sure where to post this, but since it involves getting this years SDCC exclusive toys, I think this is the best place for it.

So apparently Preview Night comes at a cost of $75 and for some, their money wasn't wasted. For the rest of those that chose to use their $75 and wait in line for over 2 1/2 hours, the same can't be said for. Take a look at this video and weigh in on how you think this situation should have been handled and your general thought.

Was Hasbro in the right to close down the line before people got what they paid/waited for? Do these people have every right to be angry? Discuss.

Sounds like people blowing things out of proportion, for drama's sake. Yes it may be bad they closed the line early, yes people had the right to be angry, but the people in that line were extremely rude to the workers there. The toys were still available the following morning, so there was nothing to freak out about. People need to chill. If you made the decision to stand in that line, instead of enjoying the rest of the night, then honestly that was your own mistake.

This was nothing compared to BotCon's fiasco though...

I read about them letting in the wrong line when SDCC first opened over at Rebelscum, so it seems the entire show might be plagued with issues

I can't blame the people $75 they wasted standing in line could have been used to buy actual stuff. I don't blame them for being angry at all. They could have handled it better how ever. Both Hasbro and the people in line.

This is why my desire to go to SDCC died when Hollywood came a callin'. Too big, too many people, too much a pain in the ass to deal with.

seems that way. only thing i got from this video was that i am glad i didnt go and spend 75 bucks and deal with all that drama. i can push my luck on getting some of the sdcc exclusive stuff on the websites or on here from board members.

Man I feel bad for that Hasbro rep. Feels like the SDCC workers werent notified till last minute of the line closing so soon. However if there was an announcement that the dealer hall closed at a certain time and there was a line cutoff at a certain time then other people should have been paying attention anyway. They should have started turning people away earlier rather than let them wait and then cut it off so abruptly like that. Seems like some bad crowd control. Yay working at Disney and learning how to move massive hoards of people. >.<

Watching the video, who closed it down, SDCC or Hasbro, because I kept hearing that one lady say over and over "Go Get Hasbro"

how many of the people in that line were scalpers tho? i think they over-reacted a bit, if they spent the time they spent complaining getting other toys it wouldnt of been as much of a waste, but that may not of been possible cause i know nothing about how sdcc works. Overall i just got fed up watching that video after a few seconds.

LOL, anyone hear the Power Rangers' ringtone? I thought "MORPHIN TIME" was coming up:lol

EDIT: So if Hasbro closed the line, why are they still there arguing with the workers?
