Same deal as Victorysabre, I DON'T recommended this seller. Was dishonest on when items where shipped, making up lies that they left the tracking number on work desk on a friday. Don't hear back from the seller for 5days, so after 2 weeks of waiting I opened a dispute with paypal, and then the seller mails it out the next Thursday All this could of been avoided if he/she was honest, and just said they hadn't shipped yet and needed more time, instead of having me question the post man each day! So took about 3weeks from payment to receive items... So it's a bit of a risk dealing well this person, but I am happy that the figs did finally show up. Good luck.
Bought two items from dragontron88 smooth transaction. Did take a while to ship but this was around the Holidays.
Just like MasterxBlaster, I too did not have a smooth transaction with dragontron88. I purchased two deluxe figures from him. Classics Prime and Transmetal Optimus Primal. The good and the bad, in a nutshell: Good: -Excellent price -Pictures were sent in a timely fashion when I requested them -Toys are in pristine condition Bad: -Poor communication -Lengthy delays between replies, despite noticing seller logging on several times per day on TFW2005 -Had to literally harass seller to obtain tracking number -Items were shipped to Canada in an ENVELOPE, with loose parts inside. NO packing material, NO ziploc bag for loose parts. How the items got here unscathed is baffling and nothing short of a miracle. In the end, I am relieved to see that the figures did not get damaged in transit and I did get a pretty good deal on them. But the overall experience was a frustrating one and I simply cannot recommend this seller to anyone.
Sorry to say, but same deal here. The timeline.... 1/6/12: I pay him $55 via PayPal for RID Omega Prime, MIB 1/20/12: I inform him I haven't got the package yet. He PMs back... "Sent it parcel a while back. Thought you had it by now and never said anything. Let me find the reciept and look in to it." 2/2/12: After sending him several "any updates?" emails, he PMs back... "So, the post office has finally found it, it was in a trailer that was in an accident on the way to being delivered. The box was beat up with the label all torn up. Figures are fine. So I will repack it and reship it out to you again soon!" I never saw the shipping reciept. 2/13/12: I inform him that I still have not received the package. 2/16/12: (2 weeks since last response from him, and he was logged in yesterday) no package, no further communication 3/9/12: Two weeks ago, I finally get a response. Today I received the package....2 months and 3 days after sending PayPal payment to him.
Recently bought a Dark Knight Rises movie masters Blake action figure from dragontron88. Communication could have been much better, but overall it was a positive transaction. Definitely not the same experience that some others have had with him. The packaging used to ship the figure could have been better (one of those yellow bubble wrap envelope things), as Blake's packaging seemed to gain some additional wear and tear on the way here. That said I was planning on taking Blake out of his packaging anyways, so it wasn't a big deal. In the end I got the figure I paid for, and that's all that matters. I'd most likely do business with him again if the opportunity came up.
I received a Hot Toys Starboost from dragontron88 today. The price was excellent. Shipping took a while, but that was in part due to the dock issues that were affecting all sideshow products. Communication was also good and they were able to answer my questions. I would do business with them again.
