    Howdy all,

I saw some of there down at Image Anime in NYC while I'm here for work and I have to say, these guys are awesome. Around 20 points of articulation and hand/head/torso accessories and a display stand! I'll take come pics when I get home this weekend, but here is a link for some images:

    http://images.google.com/imgres?img...ball+hybrid&svnum=10&um=1&hl=en&safe=off&sa=N

I grabbed Broly, SSJ Goku, SSJ Trunks and SSJ Gohan. I'm a little dissapointed with trunks, he falls apart pretty easily, but I may have gotten a dud, the rest are solid.

Any of you guys pick these up?

Yes. I got SSJ3 Goku and he was a floppy mess of parts.

    I hate V crotches

I've always just wanted a really good Piccolo figure, one that looks just like him and articulated. This one looks close enough despite my hatred of v-crotches, but if they're all floppy messes...DO NOT WANT

After clicking the link I actually thought for a second that good Dragonball Z figures had finally been produced with articulation and everything... then I read two posts in a row with the term "floppy mess" :lol  Oh well.

Could really have used some ball jointed hips. Not too fond of the fact they went with the SSJ versions, I prefer the "normal" ones (and Majin Vegeta) design wise.

Hmm, those look pretty cool. Not sure i like the v-crotch too much, but I can deal with that. I cannot deal with them being floppy messes, though.:(

Like I said in my original post, only SSJ Trunks was a mess. The other three stay together very well (Broly is really tight). Compared to the microman superman (comic) I have, they are way better. They do have non-SSJ, check out eBay for those.

I just ordered SSJ Vegeta + Piccolo from toywiz, they are a little over what everyone is retailing but then again, when aren't they overpriced?

from what i have, Kid Buu is frickin awesome. Anything with sleeves (all the Gokus) have floppy shoulder joints due to the sleeve being a separate piece.

the SSJ4 versions are good, though. But i won't have anyone to fight with SSJ4 Goku :(

Well I have the regular Goku figure and I can honestly say it's not floppy at all. These are the first DB figures to really capture the 'look' of the characters for me. I also love that they are fully painted.

The V crotch is not nearly as annoying as it could be due to the mid thigh swivel. also gives a seamless look to the toy.

Only the last three in the link I provided are Hybrid figures. Take a look at the description on the right of each pic, and you'll see which ones are hybrids.

So far most of the ones I got are pretty good. The only one that isn't is Trunks, like I mentioned before. Also, Vegeta punched Goku a little to hard and is now missing and arm...

Some of the figures have issues where joint are not tight and parts fall off. I like to think of them more as poseable statues then action figures.
