Hey guys, didn't see a thread on this so I figured I'd do one. I found this guy in walmart today along with the 6 inch figures and some more of his 4 inch counterparts. Only picked up Goku but I love the articulation so I might get Piccolo tomorrow.

Heres a MOC pic of Goku. There is this version and an all blue version of him but I opted for this.

He's got some nice poseablility and can hold them well, although there are some balance issues with a pose like the one above.

The dragonball seems a bit big to be in scale with the figures, not a big deal though. There is a "build a figure" for this series and it's Oozaru.

Sorta a disappointment though because he is basically half a shell that you place goku in, so I'm sure the articulation is limited or non-existing.

He's pretty awesome though, whether the movie sucks or not I'll still get Piccolo and Roshi too...here's hoping they make an Ernie Hudson figure from the movie!

Thanks for the pics. I think the movie is going to an epic failure but I appreciate the chance to look at the figures. They haven't been released in this area yet.

My 7yr old collects DBZ toys. He hates these. Said they weren't the same. We found all of them at Walmart.

Ugh. The toys don't look all that appealing. But I may get Bulma for the hell of it.

Is it wrong that I have no clue what Dragonball is, but I'm completely looking foreward to the movie falling on its face... just to read the endless threads about childhoods being raped?

What, no Mai Figure? Though that would depend on how, if at all, these sell. Saw a preview of the game, and it looked, and looked to play, like unadulterated crap.

Bandai. A thumb was obscuring what I thought was the company logo (and I honestly didn't want to believe Bandai had a part in such a shit line), but it's on the top of the back of the packaging instead.

I agree with the power punching figures. Very crappy and dissappointing. I like the 4 inch scaled ones but I'm not getting anymore than piccolo and goku. I gotta save money for joes and trek and of course rotf!

Bought the orange Goku for shits and giggles, tossing him in the random toys bin.
