I picked up the regular Son Goku awhile back on a whim. It's not bad. A good, solid model, but if you're used to the heft of an MG Gundam, you'll be somewhat disappointed, as the legs at least are quite hollow. Still, a solid build with a number of neat articulation gimmicks, and very posable.

And I much prefer the scale of the Figuarts, so I've moved on to those instead.

I'd consider getting them if bandai included effect parts. really, it's stupid for them not to.

I'd get them. If I was any good with water slides.

I'm waiting for Gotenks. Otherwise i don't really care about them. Maybe if a piccolo comes out, i'll build it for my friend who is a huge piccolo fan.

I don't own them but I've heard good things about the models too. I would have picked them up if not for the scale - they're too tall to fit in with my 6-inch scale figures.

Just kicking the mothballs off this thread for some shameless self promotion! I built the Figure-Rise Standard Frieza model kit for CDX. Leo will be reviewing the Super Saiyan Goku kit.

If I was a bigger DBZ fan I'd be all over these. Pretty cool. Perfect Cell is also a pretty great kit going off the instructions. The layered parst effect for the faces is great since you don't need to rely on paint and stickers.

It really was surprising to see how well this kit looks practically unpainted. Leo just posted his review for the Super Saiyan Goku. very nice.
