Does anyone else play games in this series? They can be on any console. Feel free to even talk about older games.

I've played the Budokai series from the start.
I really liked 3 and Infinite Worlds.

I also initially hated the Tenkaiichi Budokai series, but my little brother got 3 (I think) as a Christmas gift, and I had fun with it.
(Arale is also my all time favorite character in a DBZ game :p )

I have Budokai Tenkaichi 2 on the wii and love it. Thinking of picking up 3 if I ever see it at the right price.

Really need to pick up Revenge of King Piccolo too at some point, that looks a lot of fun.

Played Budokai 1-3, Budokai Tenkaichi 1, Super Sonic Warriors 1 and 2 and some of the Snes games. Super Sonic Warriors 2 has to be my favourite since its quick to get into unlike the 3d games which have way too many buttons. Saw the trailer for Dragon Ball Kai Ultimate Butoden which looked kinda cool. Hopefully it gets translated.

Gotta agree with the 3D games having too many controls. That's what threw me off Budokai Tenkaichi the first time around.

I played the demo of Raging Blast (which seems like a evolution of Budokai Tenkaichi) and that seems to use everything on the Ps3 control.

Stay far away from Burst Limit.
    It's horrible.

I loved killing everything with SS4 Gogeta in Budokia Tenkaichii 2. but any of the games past that just have too many controls for me

I really enjoyed the burst limit games.

I've been playing these since Budokai 1, and I learned that the the first game of a new series I should avoid.... though I always end up getting it >_<

They're ok, but I'm really getting tired of the lack of new content. Is it so hard to make up a couple of new characters just for the games?

Honestly, if Spike (the developer since Tenkaichi) don't change anything I just won't buy their next product. Characters just don't add anything to the game anymore. And I've owned every main console fighting game since budokai 2.

That's pretty much my point. They have to add new content. There's only so many ways you can tell the exact same story plot from the show. I mean hell, if they can get Toryama to make new stuff for that MMO, why can't they get him to make new stuff for the fighting games?

Didnt they just remove the story in Raging Blast 2? I dont think they can really do that much more with the franchise.
