I just finished watching the Frieza saga....Its like night and day with DBS...So many details,so many little dialogs that pay off later...The building up of the Super Saiyan legend...It was just sooo good! The only thing i didnt like is the final battle against Frieza was too long
Aah! the legenday 5 minutes that took..I cant remember how many episodes. I enjoyed that "last battle" a lot ^^
i love super. i don't care if its on par with anything, as long as i'm enjoying it! the only complaint i have is the lack of a title for trunks' new form......that we'll never know until xenoverse 2 or 3 states it. i wonder who put the hit on goku, if the future titles are true.....
excuse the double post.....i just watched the new episode, and it was funny! Spoiler: wish granted gohan's wish to cure pan's fever because she wasn't affected by medecine was the first granted wish by shenronroshi's wish for "young girls" and 18's wish to give a gift to krillin were granted by bulma, oolong and pilaf were knocked aside, goten and trunks didn't know what to wish for, goku got the crystal for bulma, but beerus destroyed the crystal and bulma's time machine......and king kai's wish wasn't granted because they took too long to ask.......poor king kai
and with this dub. Mr. Satan is Heihachi Mishima in both English and Japanese. Jamieson Price sounds really good, though I prefer Chris Rager.
well goku could try again in a few month... Spoiler assuming Bulma havnt found it and wish her lab restored
you mean in a year......and i don't think bulma will risk doing it again.... aside from that, who else is happy arale gonna show up? this is gonna be another good one! lastly, i've been reading that someone hired hit to kill goku (i'm thinking champa, duh), so do you think if its true that it'll be the actual basis of the saga, or just a couple of saga gap fillers like that goo vegeta thing was?
Spoiler there is a wish left, so the recovery time is cut short.. so a few month or half year, the dragon ball should be ready again.
Spoiler okay, so i needed to wiki this, just to make sure i got my info right! it appears both of us are right. you could stack unused wishes if you ask him to, and the conserved energy allowed him to reappear in four months in the original series, but it was stated that only one wish was granted when beerus showed up and it took a year for the dragon balls to restore because he quickly dispersed and he wasn't asked to stack. this time shenron pretty much used all his energy as long as he can, plus wasn't asked to stack the last wish. this show has some funny logic
*still waiting on official dub .... has officially learned the secrets of Fusion, Instant Transmission, Spirit Bomb, and the kame-ha-mae-ha from the long wait*
You'll have to keep waiting, but at least we know it's coming only 60-some episodes in... They just announced the dub cast. We're getting Meredith McCoy back for 18, but lost Laura Bailey as kid Trunks... don't know how to feel about that until I hear Alexis Tipton's take. No other recasts that I can see. VOICE CAST REVEALED FOR THE OFFICIAL U.S. ENGLISH DUB OF “DRAGON BALL SUPER” - Funimation – Blog!
I'm happy that Meredith is here to stay as 18. Shame about Laura not being Trunks anymore, though Alexis Tipton has proven to be a solid VA so I'm sure she can make it work.
Okay, so can I just say that I really hate Crunchyroll? I can't believe people actually pay for this thing. Tonight we finished the BLack Goku arc but we experience constant freeze ups and the video kept going in and out of HD every other minute. Rant aside, those 4 episodes were great even if the final episode cheated a bit. The last battles with Zamasu was really exciting, especially when Goku and Vegeta fused together. I was also pleased with how they made up a reason for their Boo saga fusion not being permenant. Good stuff all around and this truly was one of the best story arcs in the entire franchise. Can't wait to see where things go from here.
Some shots from the upcoming episode: Goku Wright: Ace Saiyan. And this is the cast of Dr Slump, Akira Toriyama's famous comedy show that came before DB (it never got outside Japan though). They're going to do a crossover.
