Thanks for your feedback. Might pick it up if I like that form from the anime(I'm reading the DB manga and I'm at the part where Goku might be in the verge of turning super Saiyan but hasn't yet). I noticed that compared to DBZ Gokus in waves 1 and 2, by the time Bandai made Super Saipan Blue Goku in this line, the head sculpts took a turn for the better as did the shoulders joints(at least for Goku, no visible pin through the sleeved part of the shoulders). There's still some missteps(like Trunks having a scabbard with no removable handle...like what if has his sword drawn? Then it looks weird having that scabbard in his back.... and also the blunted tips for the hair sculpts) but BoA has shown attempts at improving rather quickly. In the meantime I bet we will will get more DBZ figures... like BAF monkey Gohan, Piccolo, Yamcha, super seiyan teen Gohan, Cell and the Androids.
I don't post that often, but I wanted to let everyone know that my preorders for Series 6 came in at GameStop. If you're on RangerBoard, then you know I'm a mod there by the same name, you can see my full review there. We also have some kind of confirmation of the next series... or partially. And of course comes graciously from Toyark. (If you don't want these posted here, I'm happy to remove them)
The new prototypes for Dragon Stars look good but by final production the sharp tips of the hair will probably be blunted like on Super Saiyan Trunks.
To anyone that has Hit and merged Zamasu, how bad do the skirts hinder the articulation? Also are figures like Super Saiyan Blue Vegeta able to kneel or crouch?
They really need to start including extra heads in these. I know that could require a price increase but when I see two Gohans and potentially three Vegitos with almost nothing visually different besides a head swap, it gets pretty ridiculous even if they might retool the bodies a bit across waves. Was hoping to see their take on Ultra Instinct Sign, especially since it'd give us a blue shirt Goku to fight Final Form Frieza. I understand going with Mastered though and shirtless serves a similar purpose as well. Broly's Broly but I hope he means we'll get more Z-exclusive figures in this line even if it's Dragon Ball Super.
anyone looking for the new Gohan and Kaioken Goku, I just needed the BAF so these are still in the box
For some reason, Dragon Starz are $15 @ Gamestop right now. Saw it online and it came up 14.99 in store.
The guy at my local Gamestop almost didn't want to sell me the toy because it came up as 14.99. The Dragon Star figures are definitely moving due to the lowered prices. I was able to snag a Gohan today. I'm really impressed by the figure. I still haven't been able to find a Kaioken Goku. I tried reserving one, but I've been unable to do so. Is it just a slight remold/repaint of the other SSB Goku?
I always used clear fingernail polish on loose ball joints. Layer it on the ball joint, let it sit then pop the head back on. You can also use super glue, but I always worry I'll eff it up, so I stick with the clear nail polish.
Question for you guys: are the heads on the same size ball joints? Like, say I have the Super Saiyan Blue Vegeta in the Resurrection F outfit, do the heads from the Base and SSJ figures fit on that body?
Same here, but I'll get roped into buying the wave for the damn Broly BAF. Was hoping for another Pride Trooper or other Gods of Destruction.
UI Goku is the only definite for me, though base form Black is a little tempting. Also SSJ Adult Gohan, since that's not something you see often in figure form. And I'm more than happy with the Figure-Rise Broly, so I can freely skip the rest.
The lamest thing about the Super Saiyan Gohan head is that he doesn't have the front bang. I understand that he's repping Super but you can't reuse it for his blue gi or a Saiyaman body assuming either become a thing.
