Dunno if this is news for uk transfans but I just saw an ad for Downshift, Dark Crumplezone and Evac on Cartoon network. Seems HasbroUK wants to crank those guys out early for some reason even though we are wayy behind everyone else cartoonwise

an ad for a toy doesn't mean it's out on shelves already.....espically if it's TF, and in the UK....

    I could be wrong though...

Yeah, unfortunately Hasbro UK have advertised on television toys they've never even actually released before.

well, Cyb Megatron has been shown in a UK advert, but he's no out yet/not going to be released over here at all.

I think CN showed the AD by mistake, Cybertron over here look's to me like a dying animal, soon to be gone completely.

Nothing to add other than he's completely correct. Hasbro UK no longer even bother to make new adds to fit what TFs they do bother to offer.

They've been showing that advert here in New Zealand apparntly, i've yet to see it. But we don't have any of those toys yet either.....due out next month though, so it's not all that bad.

What do you expect from people who just market their toys as "Scout Class Assortment", "Deluxe Class Assortment", "Voyager Class Assortment", "Ultra Class Assortment", "Leader Class Assortment" and "Suprme Class Assortment"?

Not likely.... chances are you wouldn't pay any less to get him via Hasbro UK even if they do release him.

Maybe it's not so untrue after all. Take a look at what just got posted at the Japanese TF Image Board:

The photo is indicative of European Transformer releases. Question is, where in Europe will he appear? If I'm not mistaken, all of Europe uses photo-packaging.

Plus the "2 in 1" thing.
I'd be soooo happy if they did appear here, but it makes no sense.
Nothing they do ever does mind you.
Unless some shop had said something like "give us exclusive tfs the other UK shops haven't got yet"

Amazing how much duller the whole package looks without the art imo.

CD Hotshot and Downshift appeared in The Netherlands and Italy about a month/five weeks back.

As most of us know, The Netherlands and Italy are nearly six months ahead of the UK market on Cybertron.

    No Dark Crumplezone IIRC.

Of all the cockups Hasbro UK have made on Cybertron, Deluxes are the biggest, they skipped straight to wave 3, and quite a few shops aren't even stocking that.

The guy who posted the photo said he bought him in Italy.

I'm currently trying to find out whether the packaging (which is featuring the "2 in 1" and "i" characteristics of the new European Alternators packaging) is also sporting 12 languages now.

Oh, BTW... Hasbro UK said last year they would release Alt Ravage and Wheeljack. Both came out in Italy and Belgium (and Wheeljack was also released in the Netherlands), but they were never available in the UK.

Hooray! so now TFs are to be distributed in even more countries outside the U.S.

Except for the U.K. and Ireland of course. :)

UK packaging looks really nasty, and not just because there's no art on the package - it's so plain and full of empty space!

It is cool that someone in Europe can get new stuff like Downshift, at least.
