Downloadable PS3 games get size limit

    So does that mean if the PS1 FF series get available on PSLive Arcade (still dont know what they're calling it) that we're gonna have to buy each disc or have it just pay one time and d/l 4x different parts. (something i brought up how the Wii VC could do it if they could get the FF series on it on another forum)

    Well, FF7 comes to 1.6 gigs on my hard drive, so you're probably looking at multiple downloads.

    All of FF7 is actually on disc 1 for the PS1. The only thing thats different between discs are the CG cinemas.

    Oh yes, I forgot about that (for those of you with PS1s, you can swap out disks at any point, and get through the game fine. Sometimes you may even see videos you never saw when playing normally). They'll probably have compressed the videos, too.

    And if the actual code is compressed (ISO packers can get it down to a fraction of the size), it would fit well within the limit.
