    A question for Mr. Rumble02:

Is DoubleDealer much of a brick?

The Western version of the cartoon ended before the 1988 line.

The Japanese version did appear in Masterforce.

He was one of my favorites as a kid. Holds quite a lot of sentimental value as well. My mother bought him for me the day my dad left.

Wish I still had him. :(

I loved my Doubledealer. He's up in a box upstairs somewhere chilling with the other Powermasters.
He shows up (and plays a pivitol role) later in Masterforce, he has also been recently seen in the IDW Spotlight: Hot Rod comic.

Same difference, really. Different names for slightly different coloured versions of the same toy. It's not like Ginrai, who was totally different from his western counterpart. It's more like how Tidal Wave was called Shockwave in Japan and painted differently when his toy came out over there. Different colours, different name, same base personality (going by the tech specs, anyways. It's kinda hard to argue since Doubledealer has barely been used)

Funny thing is that Masterforce used the U.S. version of Doubledealer's color schemes for Doubleclouder. Ironically, his JP version of the toy doesn't look anything like it does in the show. Well part of the body does, but the face is off.

A nice toy but the moving the chest around and sticking it to the rocket always bothered me.

Doubledealer is sweet, he's a figure that one day I'd like to get. Shame about those hard to find powermasters of his though.

Very cool, I wish I had one. The Japanese version is even better, meaning eventually I'll have to hunt both down. Oi, the money :(

Doubledealer's a fantastic toy. I really should track down another one at some point. (I gave mine to Vector Sigma a few years ago)

Ah I loved that toy when I was a nipper.

Makes me cry to think where he may have ended up. In a landfill somewhere, no doubt.

I got a C9.5 Doubledealer last year with unused sticker sheet, instructions and tech specs for $35 shipped. It's my favorite Powermasters after God Ginrai. I particularly love the headsculpt, it's really unique.
