"Decepticon destruction is my favorite sport... and mine, too."

I love DoubleCross- I have had a junker of him I kept since I was a kid. After finishing my voyager BlitzWing I had a body left over that I thought could work...
So like the dremel revving punk I am I hacked away and added some wings and parts from my old favourite doublecross.

I really tried my damnedest with the paint too this time, Tones with the airbrush, extreme highlights and blending by hand. I also used oil paint to simulate rust and weather streaks which you can mainly see on the legs and around the rivets on the chest.

Hope you enjoy, he will be going on to eBay so I can buy new TF's to fund my customising habit :p

    Amazing!
absolutely stunning mate. I have always loved the Monsterbots, I've been thinking of doing a Repugnus myself, but have been a bit discouraged... you may have changed that.

Looking really good, especially the bot mode. Nice job on the paint too.

My only suggestion would be some red detailing on the wings...not exactly G1 I know, but might help tie it together more...maybe...

    I like the "rust" effects.

Thankyou, You've gotta show love to the obscure guys too!

Thats probably the best compliment I could get. Thankyou, honestly if you need any help just make a WIP thread and I will keep my eye on it and offer advice wherever I can.

I did think about using more red but i think it may have looked like 'sore nipples' if i had put red on the points where the ratchet joints are on the wings:eek:

    Thanks very much :D

Thankyou SQ7- I think this is the most time consuming paint style I have tried and hope it shows

Wow, especially with your paint style that is a great compliment

I like it, but the head seems awkwardly small.

I agree the head is slightly undersized but I don't feel it looks awkward- its all in the proportion- for example in comics the hulk has hands much larger than his head- thats just his 'look'

Different strokes I suppose. I just think the head would look better if it was a little bigger.

    Your work is Epic!
BTW, I have a character that is an homage to your equally awesome Corrupt Prime as one of my next Ravagers... Thanks a lot for inspiring work mate!
