Has anyone noticed this? This has to be a typo. I'm not familiar with the character at all, but based on his bio and his appearance, I'd figure he's an 8 at least.

he's in headmasters series, and gets slapped around sounding like a wuss i think, but based on the toy and looks, yeah he should be higher

What should his power level be? It should be OVER- ah-nevermind. Yeah, 1 is way to low for someone like Doublecross. I'd say 7 at least.

    From TFwiki:

Doublecross's Tech Spec gives him a Strength rating of "1". This is presumably an editing gaffe, since only other times a "1" showed up in anybody's ratings were in cases such as the Mini-Vehicles and Throttlebots, under "Firepower" -- indicating that they had no guns at all! However, Doublecross's "1" was taken at face value by the More Than Meets the Eye profile books, which state that Doublecross is extremely weak.

    Hey wait...

Yet another one actually takes Tech Specs seriously?

Dudes, be careful, some people take these tech specs like a religion.

Wouldn't be the first time they made an error in tech specs.

If you want to be REALLY picky, you could argue that it was the only time a "1" showed up in North American tech specs. Bruticus has a speed rating of 1, and Abomimus has an intelligence rating of 1.

    http://www.tfu.info/1987/Decepticon/Abominus/abominus.htm

Expansion: Rumors of a Bruticus giftset being released in U.S. testmarkets remain unconfirmed. The giftset was released in Italy and Japan however.
Abomimus was (of course) also released as a giftset in Japan, and (i think) Italy.

No, I don't. It was nothing more than an observation. But based on responses it appears it was never corrected (i.e. Scorponok's specs).

I could see why Abominus's rating is so low with him being opposite Computron. "Computron think too much!"

Doublecross is probably rated weak because he can't get his brains to agree to show his true strength.

Sorry for me to ask, but... who's Doublecross?

Doublecross was one of the Monsterbots released in 1987. He has two head and as such, 2 personalities.

That is something of a strange occurance. Its possible that, as with Scorponok, that his tech specs got printed upside down- or maybe he is just a total pansy :[

Hm, no wonder why I don't know him... my brother wouldn't have known anything about him either.

I have Doublecross, not in perfect condition. It was my brother's first Transformer were as my first was the other monsterbot. My same aged uncle broke my monsterbot, on the same day, Xmas day, so I gave it to him. (Dumb of me) Eventually by brother gave me his.

Doublecross looks like a 7 on strength, but I never knew he was a 1 because I must have thrown away his box. (another regret)

IRC, his specs were revised in a later shipment. The original specs were in fact upside down (ie. his Strength of 3 was corrected to went to an 8). Despite this, they were still not consistent with the spec meter in his chest, which had his Strength, Intellegence and Speed at 10, 9 and 4, respectively.

Little lizard arms can't lift much. Dragon heads lift even less. Strength = 1.
