Sorry if this is old news, but I found some dotm prototype images. One of the images showed what looked like one of the wreckers toys but with fold out missile launchers, so does this mean that the toy will change from a standard car to a fully armoured version like we have seen on the dotm sets?

Yeah, it looks to be that way. Which is why I'm so looking forward to the DOTM Wrecker figures. I donno. I just think that's a really cool feature if they can pull it off well.

But also, yeah, this is an old pic. But the topic doesn't seem to have been talked about much. I suppose a mod could maybe move this to the toy forum?

 

Yer I hadn't seen this or heard about this before. It has actually made me more excited as I totally thought that hasbro were just going to give us plain cars.

Nope. That's the Deluxe model, that indeed has a robot-mode.

 

i wouldnt necessarily call them triple changers-i mean, Movie 1 Voyager Prime has a few flip out weapons-so does Sidearm Sideswipe and Cannon BB. its like an excessive extension of that lol

 

Yeah, tripple changer may not be an accurate description. It's more of a secondary artillery mode.

 

It is highly doubtful you will see the level of weapons and stuff seen on the prop Nascars on the actual transforming toys. Seems to be a physical and engineering impossibility, as the space inside the vehicles need to be used to store robot mode parts.
