    harry potter is lurking around the corner...

    Potter will break $1 Billion instead of TF3...?? Maybe both will break $1 billion making 2011 the first year which 3 movies broke $1 billion...(pirates 4)

    I'd believe TF3 will make its billion, its halfway there in just a week and a bit, I couldn't ask for better numbers. As for taking Avatar money, well, Avatar made 760,000,000 of its 2,700,000,000 in the United States alone.

    Given the popularity of the franchise, its possible that a lengthened cinema run will help Dark of the Moon take that billion. Regardless of whether it breaks that milestone, it's earned EVERY penny by being enjoyable.
