A bit late. Meh.
Oh yeah, WIP.
I like the idea very much. Never crossed my mind to have Wheeljack from that mold. How in the world did you get the chest pieces to turn inward like that? Does this guy still transform?
Can't wait to see the finished product.
Does not transform. Why the hell would I make a Transformer transform?
A bit rough looking, but I think you have some good ideas going on here. Hope to see more.
Unless you're progress will involve a bottle of acetone and sandpaper, I'd be very suprised if this WIP of yours will look any better when finished.
I commend you for posting your work online, but I cant compliment that beyond 'neat idea'. Your paint is simply badly applied. It looks like it was mixed with flour. I dont say that to make you feel Sad, or angry. Instead, use this experience as a way to improve your art, and its execution.
How to Thin Paint - YouTube
Browse youtube for great tutorials, and test paint techniques on scrap plastic dollar store toys.
I guess your unique brand of mecha is called Ers then?
As above, thin your paints, and cut thin strips of masking tape to paint your lines (wait til the previous coat is completely dry, and maybe a thin clear coat) or it ends up looking like a 3 year old painted it.
Is....are...the body panels made from paper mache'? Does not look like plastic.
Paint was already on the parts. Will leave in a container of turpentine.
hi! no offense dude, but what is your idea? a battle damage wheeljack or the paint job is grotesque on porpouse or not? the head sculpt doesn't seems to wheeljack.... don't take it in the wrong way, i'm not an expert, but this custom makes me think WTF....
Gotta be honest... Great idea, but it looks like crap. Try using spray paint next time. Not 2 make you mad just sayin, it sucks.
Once you fix the paint this bot will look fantastic!
