DOTM Weaponized Roadbuster

My version of the deluxe dotm roadbuster

so many weaponized deluxe roadbuster here but somehow I need to make one too for my personal collection
This is supposed to be prepped for paint but somehow the glue seeped underneath the hood hindering the transformation process, now I need to remove it all again to fix the hood and paint the thing, wish me luck!

Materials:
1 dotm deluxe roadbuster *edit* 2x deluxe roadbuster  
1 his mechtech weapon
1 plastic stick to look like gatling gun in the front

finally, i was able to get the glue off, now its fully transformable,shortened the front "gun" for transformation purposes, finished the bits and pieces in alt mode, trial shots, gonna paint it as long as i get the paints

dry brushed the bot mode, still figuring out how to detail but this is it for now  

 

Thats a fantastic modification man, hate how hasbro didnt mke him weaponized in the irst place )  anyways great job  

 

the machine gun barrel seems waaaay too long for him to transform properly. Did you somehow manage to avoid that drawback? Good job so far though.

thank you sir, now that you mentioned it, i really do need to find a smaller one or cut it a little more   I still can't transform him yet, i accidentally glued the hinge on the hood

Thats pretty neat lookin. Ima hav to start on my roadbuster. I had the same idea of using his mechtech, take it apart nd attaching it to his sides as well. Didnt someone on here in a thread say that hasbro is making a weponized Roadbuster for the "movie trilogy" subline. Well anyway looks good so far : )

Neat custom, but without transformationability it's easy to mod the altmode

thanks bro, i'm still figuring out how to get the the glue out, its fully transformable except the hood can't fold because the glue seeped to the crevices  

 

I hate when that happens   Have you tried cutting? I hope you get it worked out, because this is looking great!

Limewire and me both made a weaponized version for the deluxe. Perhaps they can be of use to you. You might be the chosen one to bring us the best weaponized Roadbuster to date

Im still tryin to figure out uow you got the front fenders to sit up in vehicle mode nd still able to transform him. How did you do it??? Also the back end, how did you figure out how to have his rocket launchers to sit straight against vehicle mode nd able to keep it that way in bot mode??? Can you explain so i can do it to mine, i like how you did it.

 

the fenders just fold in but not fully because of the gun barrel and the extended bumpers, its actually removable (in case it gets in the way of transformation) and can be reversed so it folds the other way around

for the rocket launchers in alt mode, its glued on the rear window joints, in alt mode, its hidden behind the arms, the rocket launcher you see on his shoulders are actually painted black so its hidden in pictures, i needed to use another roadbuster for the kitbash

 

I keep lookin at your pix nd in one of the bot modes the fenders look like their glued in place on the car hood nd then you hav another set on his chest, thats what it looks like to me : )
The same with the rockets, in one pic their in the original place in bot mode nd car mode their glued like you said so im confused haha
Im starting mine nd jus got done tearing up a topspin for parts.

 

oh, i forgot about the chest piece, yah, there is a 2nd piece that appears on the hood, when i made this i didn't notice that the headlight parts connecto to the chest, when i was gonna paint him, he was nude! so i just had to do it, like what ive said, there are 2 sets of rocket launchers, 1 for each mode, the shoulder launchers are hidden by paint on the alt mode, good luck on your custom, hope you get it better than mine... then i'd copy it, ehehe
