I think I still have those pieces from when I cut them off before. I'll have to see if I can find them and try this...

    Advice?

I'm looking for your preferences on the placement of his roof cage.

So far I've had them plugged into the doors on his shoulders, but I know that is not where they are supposed to go in terms of movie accuracy.

So the next best and viable option I could see was to have them plug onto his back, where his rear bumpers sit (which hug his wheels behind the shoulders).

What do you guys think of the cage halves going onto his back?

I can't decide on which way is best, leave them sandwiched in his shoulders or have them on his back?

The thing is, having them on his back really changes his overall shape aesthetically, but for better or worse, I don't know.

His arms still have full range of movement in either positions.

I like them on the back. To bad there wasn't a way to fold them in half to help hide them more.

I have one of the older modded versions of this figure from Savio-Prime and as good as it was/is, i was surprised to see all the additional updates that have gone into thie new version!! Seeing this guy in person was amazing! The mods are perfect, and rediculous in a good way lol. Ive done some pretty large scratch builds, and this actually impressed me more than some of my stuff for the fact that with all these mods making it look more movie accurate, IT STILL TRANSFORMS! Hasbro needs to take notes from Savio-Prime!

Wow very few people can make a great robot mode without ruining the alt mode and you are clearly one of those people

Been away for a while, but thank you for the compliment. I think only certain designs lend itself in that way, while others... not so much. Well let me qualify that by saying I am not smart enough to redesign certain figures... but some yes. I am always fascinated and intrigued by all the ideas shown by all the artists around here! Helps to inspire!

    Thank you!

FYI, I am still open to selling him if anyone is interested. If so, send me an offer. :)

sweat, this is possibly one of if not the best custom movie figure iv'e seen, part of that is because you still manage to have it transform

on another note how much would one of these ratchets cost?
