This may have been address already but this figure looks alot like the Optimus we saw at the end of the SuperBowl TF3 trailer...

 

Now I can separate my RoTF Optimus and Jetfires and have this bad boy combined while those two show off their robot modes :-D

Also, the gun looks so much better on this figure than the combined RoTF one.

 

~$150 for a repainted (AGAIN) 2007 Movie Voyager Prime with a pseudo-Jetfire armor kit? REALLY?!

Guys...it is NOT the picture in the thread. That is an old Takara toy that was never released. This is something with a LEADER Optimus Prime figure. The only thing that is uncertain is if this is the Ultimate Optimus Prime (but with better paint) or something altogether new.

 

If it's the "Ultimate" Optimus Prime, I'm gonna ragequit.

I would totally get this over Ultimate Prime. I always thought that Leader Prime shoulda combined with Jetfire parts and not the entire toy. I hope they add the face mask he donned at the end of RoTF

 

Sad but true   Why is a Leader figure better then the Ultimate figure?

 

Unite for the Universe Jet Power Optimus does not resemble the one on the trailer. It is a representation of Optimus wearing Jetfire's corpse!

That said the Jetpack looks like this.

 

12,000 yen? hmmm thats about $120 i might get it, but ill wait until i see pictures of the actual toy

 

That armour in the film may very well be a variation of the Jetfire armour. I notice the one gun on the arm.

 

Nah I wish man, it was $120 a few years ago, but 12,000 yen is in the $140+ range now.

This toy might make a GREAT alternative to that Ultimate Optimus provided it's a retooled ROTF leader with good paint(this is TakaraTomy so this part is probably already taken care of).

 

Lol, they had to change the front page since people were getting so confused. They clearly said Leader Class and the picture in the thread is obviously the voyager.

 

The issue is people looking at the pic and not reading the text as well, it clearly said the item pictured was not the one in question and it had been cancelled.
