DOTM Toys based on Concept Art

    It really sucks to see cool Transformers made into toys based on their looks in concept arts. One example would be the DOTM Jetwing Prime. How I wish it looked like the one in DOTM with movie accurate guns and not the two huge machine guns in the concept arts. TRANSFORMERS 3

    All they usually have to work off of is concept art so early on in something they have more of a strict dead line then Show toys. And the movie models can go into a lot of changes quicker making it harder for them to keep up.

    What a useless complaint. This practice can't possibly change.

    Making toys takes time. They go from concept sketches to a physical model to a prototype to the test shots and then a full production run.

    In that amount of time, either the movie or show is making their own changes and tweaks along the way.

    Both serve a different purpose, making the changes necessary to accomplish their separate goals.
