Spoiler Some of you may have read the novelization by now, and like myself may be upset with what you read. First, I'm still confused as to why Sentinel Prime is portrayed as the primary villan, as it deviates from the original canon . Second, killing off Ironhide is a no-no. If thats not bad enough, Mirage and Wheeljack both get axed as well. According to Mr. Bay, he has been quoted as saying " once we kill something off, it's dead, and stays dead". Well, that's not entirely correct. First, Megatron was revived in ROTF, then so was Optimus Prime. If Hasbro and Paramount want to keep their fan base happy, and their bank account overflowing from the TF franchise, several things need to occur: First, Jazz, IronHide, Mirage, and Wheel Jack should all be revived in a sequel filming. Second, Cybertron needs to come into play as a more central plotline, along with the remaining autobots. Third, It's high time that Bumblebee has his speech restored. Lastly, what happens to all the knowledge from the Allspark? Is it going to remain locked away in Sam's mind? Or will the Autobots be able to retrieve it? If the DOTM film is inline with the novel, and there is nothing to suggest that it isn't, then it's going to be a great film overall. There's just so much more depth that can be pulled from these characters, and allowing a three hour film may be the solution in the future, as fans of the TF constantly want more. With Mr. bay set to step down permanently from the franchise, the next director will be the hinge on which the entire franchise swings.
