Someone on YouTube posted a video showing deluxe soundwave in and out of his package. Yes we have already seen the takara version, but this packaging of soundwave has no takara sign at all. This means that the US version might have been finally released somewhere! Here is the link:

There's a Chinese sticker on the packaging.

So i doubt it was actually bought in the U.S. Although TFs do sometimes turn up in the U.S a few weeks after they release in China.

That's IF it was bought in HK or China.

I'm not entirely convinced it isn't a factory leak, although it does at least seem to prove that DOTM DX Soundwave exists in Hasbro packaging.

The package at the start doesn't have a Takara Tomy logo in the top right corner, so unless somebody did a bit of airbrushing, looks like Hasbro packaging to me?

You do know that the TakaraTomy logo is just a sticker?

    Those can be removed.

Along with the trading card and white/red sticker on the bubble too?

Anybody got any suggestions on the two white stickers then?

And the Takara version has tape on the back. Which doesn't appear to be present at all on the one in the Youtube video.

Additionally, from the back, the bubble in the Youtube video looks a lot more like the Hasbro one than the Takara one... note how the one in the Robotkingdom listing has plastic that covers
the cut outs on the side of the card, whilst the one in youtube appears not to.

I don't know, Maybe somebody had some time on their hands?

It could also just be a factory sample that fell off a truck.

I did allude to that in post #2.

The Hasbro version is out in China. Check Robotkingdom.com. The Japanese version (DD-13) is out of stock, while the Hasbro version is in for $18.90.
