As I said in that other thread, I like the big cartoonish Mechtech gun. Reminds me of something like Earthworm Jim.

Though, out of white guilt, I won't be picking this figure up...As neat of a toy as it looks.

I may not have liked the characters, but the toys were pretty cool, especially the awesome Ice cream truck.

If Mudflap is a retool of this mold, I hope they make the neccesary adjustments. Comparing at the figures, Mudflap had door wings and multi-toed feet, in addition to the different head design and being left-handed.

Looks quite good, actually. I was expecting a straight redeco/minor remould and that Mudflap was going to be the new mould.

    Yes, but since
    they're the same car
in DotM, they may not have as many differences.

All the more reason to give audiences ways to tell them apart. Besides, if the differences remained consistant through their last reformat, I don't see this relatively minor reformat would change them.

Mudflap: wings, toes, droopy ears, left hand does the smashing.

Er, yeah. I'm aware of the differences in the previous versions. I'm not expecting a straight repaint. I started this out by saying I wondered how much would be remolded, not if they'd remold anything.

But "the green one" and "the orange one" isn't enough for audiences to tell two robots apart?

    I wasn't disagreeing with you.

Not if the lighting's bad, or they're colourblind. Also, this time around they're mostly in blackface, so there's a lot less colour. Anyway, I just think retaining the differences will help distinguish them.

The frightening thing about this mold is that I think nothing can be done about those feet.

Mudflap will probably be a heavy retool, they'll already need to flip his arm proportions and change head, might as well change toes and even add door wings if they feel like it.

Hmm. If I didn't have two pairs of Skids and Mudflap toys, I'd pick this guy up...

I think the feet are supposed to pull out a bit more. Looks like he's supposed to have articulated ankles.

His visible face in car mode is terrifying. Even more terrifying is how he's one of the best looking molds for this line so far, Mech Tech thingy included!

Wow. Aside from Megatron, this line is looking like a pass so far. Hopefully some better figures await.

I really like the vehicle mode.

Still luke warm on the bot though.

Not sure if I'll get this or not. I'm also curious what the deal will be with the HA line, and what (if anything) we can expect there since last time pretty much everything given the HA treatment came out better than the deluxe versions (well except for Bee).

Honestly, if he's packaged in vehicle mode, this probably has impulse buy written all over it...

Not really digging this one. HA Skids is so good in my eyes to replace him with this.
