Wow! Good news... I see a few similarities to the HA mold. Very flattering. Decent bot mode... Nice amount of ball joints, too. I asume this is a deluxe Skids / Mudlap mold. Nice to see alot of green still carries over to bot mode. Panit on upper arms and waist area is nice. Though the upper legs is missing paint... And its a shame the face sculpt couldnt "grow up" a notch. Still looks like a streotype to me... And a super dufuss... Good job Hasbro. I'll pass. My HA is enough Skids for me...
I'll wait and see if I get him. Depends on his role in the movie, etc. For now, though, Tuner Skids & T. Mudflap are good enough for me.
I liked the old mold, but this looks pretty damn terrific, and probably an improvement. Nice proportions, and what looks to be a less awkward transformation. Something about it reminds me of TFA activator Bumblebee. I'll also add that the sculpt on the legs is top notch.
Notice he has two Mechtech ports on his roof, but one gun. Wonder if his and Mudflaps guns both mount and form one large one?
"that's a pretty one." that's what my mom (who's not into transformers) said about the robot front view pic. he's a good looking bot to me as well. I'm not sure those are "Mechtech" ports on his roof, they look very shallow to me.
I love this figure. And so far this is the only figure who's Mech Tech gun acctually works. No doubt I will be picking him up.
I don't think they are. Just your regular dark blue plastic for light piping that doesn't really work, combined with eyesockets that have been painted black...
The more I look at him, the more I want him...It's just those pieces sticking off the feet that annoy me...
I like the mold, but would lie a better face. I'm not a fan of the movie faces to begin with. Skids & mudflaps are junk. I was hoping they'd get a facelift for tf3 but i guess not. At least the gun is good. Best mechtech i've seen so far.
