I think the DOTM mould is good and fun to play with, the only problem is the poor plastic color. Therefore I have my Sideswipe repainted, and it look a lot better now~
Wow, that is one nice piece of work, well done....I have GOT to get one now & do this! What paint did you use, if you don't mind me asking?
I use Mr.color no.8 for the silver, and Black+silver for the metalic black parts. Painting was pretty simple for this, becoz the parts are well designed for spray painting, not many masking work. But dis-assembly it was quite trouble and time-consuming.....
Looks gorgeous fully painted up. If the actual figure looked like that outta the package I would have bought it.
very nice job on him, really makes him look handsome in that silver but as said, this really belongs in the radicons section.
I love what you did here but.... I shouldn't have to work so hard to have a painted sideswipe. I just don't understand why hasbro cheaped out on this one.
beautiful! One grip though, despite the flaw the toy made, Sideswipe in the film has a black spoiler! I know its too lil too late but thought you should know..
That is a gorgeous silver. You say it's Mr. Color No. 8? I don't know that I've heard of that brand before. Where can it be found?
Dude that is awesome. It looks like an official figure, you know, one that Takara might release! (Yeah, it's too good for Hasbro.) You make me want to buy this toy.
