This is one of two I am finishing this weekend, this one will be headed to eBay this Saturday evening and the other one was for a rare commission I accepted. Prime features fully articulated hands, as well as new double rear tires and single front tires. He will also feature a second face with the faceplate that can be easily switched out. This big boy also features are new technique and one of a kind application for his flames.

Frenzy Rumble was kind enough to provide me with his original illustrator file for Prime's flames from which I spent literally 3 weeks redefining in photoshop so that the could be printed on an ALPS micro dry printer. What this gave me was decals printed on clear decal paper that had a silver metallic ink outline for the flames. After they were applied, they were finished off by minor enhancement using a fine liners brush and chrome silver enamel paint. I may make sheets of these flames available, but they will not be cheap due to the cost of the ink for the ALPS printer (no longer manufactured).

Enough of my blah blah.... A fully gallery can be viewed at my facebook page.

imma admit.. those double tires look alittle big on robot mode. but your paint job and work on the figure is just so bad ass that its a acceptable. .. another great custom man.

Why you name it DOTM? Better marketing technic for higher ebay price?

But nice figure, I like it!

    Thanks buys!

Some don't like it, most do. The commissioner on the second one asked specifically for the double tires, so I gave this guy the same treatment.

    Thanks!

Because Optimus Prime will appear in Dark of the Moon from what I understand, and there is no true leader class Optimus Prime being made for the DOTM line. Also, yes it will attract more eyes on eBay with the DOTM badge.

    Papa Shango indeed!!

    Madre de Dios...

That might be the most beautiful Optimus Prime I've ever seen. What incredible detail, and those rubber tires really seal the deal. Are those off a 1/32 scale truck?

    Gorgeous, be rightfully proud.

Amazing...Every new OP that comes out just keep getting better! I love the level of details shown; you even have those curly wires coming out of the rear of the cab!

I don't mind the fatty wheels, they are black so they kinda recede into the background. My only crit if there even should be is the colours of the hooks kinda look dull relative to all the shininess. I wonder if there's a paint that can make them look 'hotter'. Maybe a HOK candy or something.

    Good luck on the auction!

looks good man. I wonder though, couldn't you have taken some shots of the flame designs for the inner legs, and robot mode "doors" on the chest from the Buster prime to go with accurate designs? I'm just wondering.

Thanks, but Buster prime is NOT accurate to the on screen character's flames.

Hmm..not trying to be a dick or anything but niether are these.
The flames on the sleeper and the doors are a bit off, and the ones on the rear fenders are totally wrong.
The flames on the fake chest doors are incorrect as well.
I dont like the huge tyres either but thats just personal taste. :2c:
Maybe wheels and tyres from a 1/32 scale truck model would be better?
Then again if the customer likes it then who gives a shit!?
I like the details and vibrant colors, makes a nice change.
