Finished my DOTM Roadbuster today. Remember? I got this as a badly painted custom and refurbished it to his basics.

Today i got my reprolables and and i decided spontaneous to paint him, and this is the result

It's very well-done, and I can appreciate the level of work you've put into it, but the previously blank gray robot parts now seem too "busy", if you get my meaning. The bronze and copper (or is that gold and bronze?) details are competing with each other for attention, and it's hard to look at the whole thing at once without going a bit crosseyed.

I think the overall issue is the number of paints with high chromaticity (colorfull-ness) in close proximity on the figure. If the copper was changed to a darker shade of gray, for example, it might clear up a lot of that "busy" feeling I mentioned above.

Good job, though. Craft gets an A+

I like especially the copper, gold and iron details. When you see it in real life it is looking great :)

Thx for the constructive comments :)

In alt mode, something I did on mine that you might like to do is coloring that gray area between the rear windshield and the National Guard sticker. (It's most visible in your last pic.)

Your work is really cool. It pops out in detail and much better than the original figure.
    Awesome! :)
I noticed that you painted also the thigh and other sections with the dark green. What paint and color type did you use to paint those green sections?

Fantastic detailing. Reprolabels make his car mode so much better.

I really love what you've done with all the different metallic shades. You've made that safety bar molding on his shins actually work! I'm also super impressed by the paintjob on the missile launchers. It's a real bitch to paint missiles that small as cleanly as you have! Bravo!

I actually liked the unpainted legs on the original, considering the roll cage of the car is unpainted. I really like the details you did on the arms! Great job.
